About Us

At Supporting Sullen, our mission is simple: to support people and strengthen community. Founded by Steven Arthur, a Behaviour Support Practitioner and Behaviour & Wellbeing Consultant who grew up on Norfolk Island, our service is built on a deep understanding of both professional practice and community values.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science, a Master of Forensic Mental Health, and is currently undertaking a Diploma in Counselling. He has extensive experience across disability, forensic, and community settings, bringing specialist knowledge and practical, hands-on skills to every person and family he supports.

Supporting Sullen provides private Behaviour & Wellbeing and Community Wellbeing services that are person-centred, respectful, and tailored to individual and family needs. These services are separate from Steven’s work as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner and are designed to provide practical support for people who may not be eligible for, require, or have access to NDIS-funded services.

From family consultations and practical strategies to workshops, observations and individualised resources, we focus on building skills, confidence and connections that make a meaningful difference in everyday life. Supporting Sullen does not provide NDIS Specialist Behaviour Support, deal with restrictive practices, or develop NDIS Behaviour Support Plans through its private services.

At Supporting Sullen, we care for orl ucklun — our people, our families, and our community.
